The Green School Bangalore is based on progressive education principles and services embracing student-centric approach to learning. The TGSB students are self-regulated learners who enjoy self-advocacy to promote their preferred learning styles and drive the dynamic learning power station with their powerful chargers- ‘inquiry questions’. Based on the theory of constructivism, learners are rated as active agents who have control over their individualised learning approaches in the TGSB inclusive education framework. It is where learning and knowledge creation happen through a constructionist approach towards making concepts in unison with real-life scenarios. In this whole collaborative environment, all the stakeholders play the role of learners, sharing ideas and exchanging knowledge. At the centre of the unique pedagogy and its practices lies the spirit of holistic development through the balancing of emotions and intellect. The optimum manifestation of these progressive principles needs an informal learning atmosphere, which creates a vibrant source of energy on campus.
