Parents look for good schools-and that is usual. But TGSB is beyond a school. It is not a hashy flashy infrastructure of mortar and bricks, glass doors, and air conditioners. It is a naturally airy living ecospace where the livestock are the students, the mentors, the caregivers, and the flowering buds which bloom with the TGSBians. Designed in a way to receive natural light and keep the whole building cool by the usage of laterite bricks and jali design, the solar enabled campus is the sweet home of biotic and abiotic components of the environment. Starting from the uniform, the food, to the crockery-is a straight takeaway from the nature’s cubby and kitchen. The differentiator between the concept of a so-called school and TGSB lies in bringing the children as close to soil- the maati- which is the creator of life. Staying close to the soil also nurtures the children as well-grounded, compassionate, empathetic, responsible, and steadfast individuals.
