‘TGSB Zero carbon initiatives’ are actions and practices aimed at reducing or eliminating carbon emissions associated with school operations and promoting environmental sustainability. The TGSBians are engaged in actions centring around energy-efficient lighting, creating solar cells, strategizing green building design, working on compositing and recycling, and conducting regular energy audits to improve the efficiency of energy use. It is not about just creating an awareness in environmental science, it is much beyond working as active environmental strategists in proposing sustainable solutions.
