Our Teachers
At The Green School Bangalore, our teachers are our greatest strength. Through their committed, sensitive mentorship, students at TGSB evolve and grow in academic, creative and social ways. Our highly qualified teachers execute our dynamic teaching-learning model with incredible skill and focus, unlocking and sparking students’ potential and firmly setting them on the path to life-long excellence in today’s challenging environment. And most of all, they are warm, approachable and caring.
The current learner-teacher ratio at TGSB is approximately 10:1 across the school. From Pre-K to Grade 3, there is a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher in each classroom, as well as support staff.
Our faculty – both young and experienced, are selected through a rigorous process. Once they join, they become lifelong learners, upgrading their practice and personal growth constantly. It is their compassion, zeal and expertise that makes TGSB one of the top schools in the country, and an inclusive space, nurturing yet disciplined, progressive yet grounded.

Professional And Personal Development
At TGSB, we want our teachers to flourish. This includes redesigning and upgrading their practices, developing critical thinking, learning styles, classroom management, design thinking, team building and more. Senior teachers mentor newcomers, reinforcing the values of the school through peer to peer engagement.
Apart from the inhouse training programmes, teachers also attend several workshops conducted by the different boards of education like CISCE and CIE.
